Sean & I met through match.com on August 15th, 2008 and have been inseparable ever since. Just a few months after our first date, we moved in together in Santa Clara, California. Since then, we have moved across the country to Austin, Texas, and started a family with our dog, Dexter. We're excited to start the next chapter of our lives by getting hitched Jamaica in 2011 with our families and closest friends joining us for the occasion. - Ellen

I (the small, blonde one they call "Ellen") was born and raised in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Growing up, I loved swimming at the Ocean Springs Yacht Club, painting, singing, and eating pretty much everything (this is why my dad nicknamed me the "lean mean eating machine"). After graduating in 2002 from Ocean Springs High School, I studied Management Information Systems at Ole Miss for two years. In 2004, I transferred to the University of Southern California. Three years and a stockpile of student loan debt later, I graduated with honors from the Marshall School of Business with a concentration in Information Systems. I then moved to the Bay Area to work as a consultant for IDS Scheer, a German software company. I had been working for just under a year when I met Sean. Today, I am working for Software AG, though I one day hope to open my own yoga studio. Besides my obsession with yoga, I currently love spending time at Lake Travis, discovering new places in Austin with my friends, watching Firefly or Veronica Mars whenever possible, and (still) eating pretty much everything.

Born and raised in southern New Hampshire, I knew I'd likely be moving out of the northeast. Despite being in ideal ski-country, I have yet to put on a pair of skis and didn't snowboard until I was 25. Instead, I loved summer sports and specifically focused on racing mountain bikes throughout New England. Since I was 18, I've lived in over 14 different towns and cities throughout the country ranging as far north as Maine all the way south to Miami. In 2007, I accepted a position with a computer company NVIDIA and opted to put my Electrical Engineering degree and years of writing reviews as an editor to work. During this time, I met Ellen and we instantly became inseparable. As soon as possible, we left the Bay area and moved to Austin. Since arriving, we've rescued a Boxer (Dexter), made some incredible friends, and are looking forward to buying our first home and settling down. Wow, did I really just type that??
